We will be checking the fruit trees planted at the Mount and removing the stakes and ties if they are well enough established. They are now in their second/third year so we may even find some fruit.

This week we will be tidying the hedge planting at the entrance to the site and small trees that are planted there. If you have gardening gloves and secateurs or shears, do bring them along.
This hedge is a bit more mature now and needs a bit of a trim and some weeding - bring gloves, shears and secatuers if you have them. There is limited parking next to Carvers, take care crossing the road.
Join the big bug hunt, how many different species can you find? The trees planted two years ago need to have the stakes and supports checked and tidied. We will also do some weeding and general tidying around the area.
