DESCRIPTION:🌿 \nRingwood ECO Fair 2025 – ‘Act Locally’\n🌿 \n\nJoin us in Ringwood for a day of eco-themed activities\, shopping and learning on Saturday 10th May from 10am – 3.30pm. This year’s theme is ‘Act Locally’.\n \nExplore the courtyard of The Furlong shopping centre and the Gateway Building (beside the town council offices) as we once again delve into the world of sustainability. \nNow in its 5th year\, this event promises a day filled with education\, engagement and eco-friendly fun for all ages. \nThis year’s theme\, ‘Act Locally’\, is all about supporting local businesses\, local community groups and local wildlife.  Everyone is invited to explore ways to support local initiatives such as pollinator friendly planting\, minimising waste\, looking after wildlife and championing tree planting initiatives. \nFeaturing: \n\nEngaging with local and national conservation organisations\nDiscovering sustainable products from eco-conscious businesses\nParticipating in interactive activities and workshops\nSupporting local shops and cafes while perusing hand-picked stalls offering sea glass jewellery\, honey\, beeswax candles\, organically grown flowers\, plastic-free household goods and more.\n\nAs a special incentive\, RACE will have 50 dwarf fruit trees available for a minimum donation of £10 each. Amazing! \nMary DeBoos\, from RACE\, said “Yet again we have a waiting list for stalls\, it’s clear that our community is passionate about sustainability.” \nThe Ringwood ECO Fair promises something for everyone\, from sampling vegetarian and vegan cuisine to learning about local wildlife and crafting nature-based art.
